Ease the financial pressure of serious illness

Serious illness can strike at any time – one in three people in the UK will develop some form of cancer during their lives*. At an average cost of £570** a month, it’s no surprise one in five have problems paying their bills.

Serious Illness Insurance pays a lump sum should you suffer any of a list of defined medical conditions or surgical procedures. The lump sum can be used to help ease some of the financial problems that will inevitably occur, such as maintaining mortgage payments, making adjustments to the home and accessing treatment.

Being diagnosed with a serious illness can cause a lot of anxiety – even if it’s at an early stage or of a less severe form. You may have to take time off work for treatment, which can cause stress and financial worries.
